These terms govern the use of therapy services provided by Mindful Track Therapy. By scheduling or attending a session, you agree to these conditions. We, Mindful Track Therapy reserve the right to change the content of these terms and conditions.

1. Services Offered

Mindful Track Therapy provides tailored, evidence-based therapy, including but not exclusively, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Sessions are offered individually. A complimentary 15-minute initial consultation is available.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: Schedule sessions via our online platform or by emailing mindfultracktherapy@gmail.com.

  • Payment: Full payment is required upfront to confirm bookings, processed securely through Stripe or bank transfer (details provided upon request).

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid fees, per our Cancellation Policy. Late cancellations incur a 50% session fee, and no-shows are charged the full fee.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All sessions are confidential, and personal data is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Confidentiality Policy

All information shared within therapy sessions is treated with the highest level of confidentiality in accordance with professional and ethical standards. Information will not be disclosed to any third party without your prior consent, except under specific circumstances where we have a legal, professional, or ethical obligation to do so.

In line with our duty of care as mental health practitioners, confidentiality may be broken if:

  • You disclose, or we have reasonable grounds to believe, that your life or wellbeing is at risk.

  • You disclose, or we have reasonable grounds to believe, that another person’s life or wellbeing is at risk.

  • Information is revealed regarding a criminal offence that has been committed in the past, or an offence that may be committed in the future.

In such cases, relevant information may need to be shared with appropriate third parties or statutory services to ensure safety and compliance with the law. Wherever possible, you will be informed if such disclosure becomes necessary, unless doing so would increase the level of risk.

If you have any concerns about the limits of confidentiality, or would like further clarification on this policy, please raise this during your initial consultation.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

  • Arrive punctually - late arrivals will shorten the session’s time.

  • Ensure a private, distraction-free environment for online sessions.

  • Engage actively for effective therapy.

  • Seek immediate emergency services for suicidal thoughts or self-harm, not through Mindful Track Therapy.

6. Therapist Responsibilities

Mindful Track Therapy therapists will:

  • Deliver professional, high-quality therapy.

  • Uphold confidentiality per ethical standards.

  • Protect client data in line with GDPR.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

Our therapy services support mental well-being but are not a substitute for medical care or advise. Outcomes are not guaranteed, and Mindful Track Therapy are not liable for clients’ decisions or actions resulting from therapy.
