About Luiza Bugajna - Founder of Mindful Track Therapy

BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist • EMDR UK Accredited • Trauma-Sensitive Integrative Therapist & Mindfulness Specialist

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Luiza. I offer compassionate, focused & evidence-based therapy for anxiety, trauma and relationship difficulties. My work supports people who may look capable on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, self-critical or stuck in survival mode inside.

Professional journey

I have 15+ years of experience in both the NHS and private practice, supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. I currently work within a major London NHS Trust, providing trauma-sensitive therapy to healthcare staff exposed to critical incidents. I also offer clinical supervision for counsellors and psychologists.

I’m registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), accredited with EMDR UK, registered with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) and qualified as a Mindfulness Supervisor with the Mindfulness Network.

Therapy is available in English and Polish — particularly helpful for expats, bilingual clients, and those who want to process difficult experiences in their first language.

Therapy with me is active, collaborative and trauma-sensitive. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe, helping you reconnect with yourself and move towards a life that feels more grounded, connected and free.

If you’re looking for effective treatment for trauma or PTSD, CBT or ACT for anxiety, or a trauma-sensitive Mindfulness — I’m here to help you take the next step.

Why this work matters to me

My approach is shaped by professional training, clinical experience and a deep respect for the courage it takes to begin therapy. I know that healing is not just about understanding patterns intellectually. It is also about creating enough safety for the body, mind and nervous system to respond differently.

Clients often tell me they feel seen, not judged or rushed. That matters to me. My aim is to offer therapy that feels honest, compassionate, practical and deeply respectful of your pace.

My unique approach

In my work I integrate variety of approaches within the SAFE Method™ — a mindfulness-based, body-focused framework supporting high-achieving adults to overcome overthinking, self-criticism, and perfectionism. I help you not just to understand patterns, but to shift them. Practicing skills that move you from suffering to action - from blindly following your echoing past to genuine freedom. Every session is trauma-sensitive and grounded in safety, trust, and empowerment.

I use active, practical tools that create real change:

  • CBT for anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and unhelpful patterns

  • EMDR therapy for trauma, PTSD, and difficult memories

  • Mindfulness and somatic practices to cultivate presence, calm, and emotional regulation

  • Relationship counselling and couple therapy for communication, trust, and connection

What makes my work different

  • Depth: trauma-informed, NICE-recommended approaches with long-lasting results

  • Integration: CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and body-based therapy for whole-person healing

  • Authenticity: I bring lived experience, cultural sensitivity, and genuine presence — no sugar-coating, always compassionate and real
